Masalah yang sama juga dihadapi warga Lake Victoria yang biasanya selalu mendapat banyak kunjungan wisatawan selama musim liburan.

Biasanya, Lake Victoria selalu padat di musim liburan. Dalam sekejap mata jumlah penghuni kota kecil di tepi danau ini bisa melonjak sampai sepuluh kali lipatnya. Musim liburan memang selalu merepotkan buat warga setempat terutama Sheriff Julie Forester (Elizabeth Shue) yang harus selalu siaga menghindarkan orang-orang dari masalah yang biasa timbul. Kali ini ada yang lain dengan Lake Victoria. Masalah biasanya tetap ada namun kali ini bertambah dengan satu masalah lagi yang jauh lebih parah.

Tiba-tiba saja danau di kota itu jadi penuh dengan ikan pemangsa manusia. Korban mulai berjatuhan dan untuk meyakinkan para wisatawan untuk tidak dekat-dekat dengan danau juga bukanlah pekerjaan mudah. Sheriff Julie hanya punya satu pilihan. Ia harus memusnahkan ikan-ikan pemakan manusia ini secepatnya atau korban akan semakin berjatuhan.
